Egyptian-Born photographer and film director -  moved to Italy at an early age to study Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano; Where he worked on multiple projects and exhibitions for Milan Design Week alongside Zaha Hadid Architects and Bartlett UCL.

Following his passion in photography and film, he did his masters in visual arts at the Brera Academy of Arts in Milan. His grad project was nominated to the Milan and Santiago Fashion Film Festivals respectively. Soon enough, Ämr’s works began to get recognition worldwide and he became recipient of multiple awards and nominations worldwide. He started his career working with young brands and fashion magazines like i-D and Document Journal followed by a boom of editorial covers for high fashion magazines like Vogue, GQ and Harpers Bazaar among others.

 

He later started directing videos and fashion films for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Sheiseido, Chanel, and many others.  Ämr is also the creative Director of “DIVAZ” - a magazine and digital platform born in 2020 to break the norms and highlight genuine messages through MENA’s fashion and culture. In 2021 he co-founded a creative studio "Temple Artists" in Dubai and Cairo. Today Ämr operates globally while being based between Milan, Dubai and LA.
